The third 50m emergency rescue ship built for VROON on zhengyu island in jiangsu province has been delivered
On January 27, 2015, jiangsu zhengyu shipbuilding heavy industry co., ltd. delivered to VOS Faithful of Vroon, which is article 3 50m ERRV delivered from jiangsu zhengyu to Vroon. The first two sister ships are currently being operated externally by Vroon Offshore Services in Aberdeen.
In November 2014, Mr. MD Coco Vroon of Vroon company attended the naming ceremony of the ship and visited the ship on board. The ship owner was very satisfied with the overall condition of the ship. Ms. Monique Haverbeke, crew assistant who has worked in Vroon ship management company for 37 years, blessed the ship.
The ship is the first of its kind designed by an Asian design company and built by a Chinese shipyard. In the past, such ship types were generally designed and manufactured in Europe. The successful delivery of this series of ships indicates that jiangsu zhengyu shipyard has been able to undertake the construction of special ship types with high standards of Marine engineering.
This kind of emergency search and rescue ship is mainly used for 24 hours non-stop cruise in the north sea oil drilling platform. During the cruise process, the bow side is driven by the lifting type full rotary electric drive as the main power. The fuel consumption is low. The overall design, construction technology and safety specifications are all implemented in accordance with the highest standards in Europe. It is the first ship of this type assisted by Marine engineers in China.
